As professional musicians, people always ask us how to keep their friends and family on the dance floor all night long. One of our top tricks is making sure we’ve got an A+ set list full of irresistible songs.

1

Ain’t Mountain High Enough / Marvin Gaye

No matter your age or background, you simply cannot resist this Motown classic. Family friendly and fun, this is a great opener to get everyone up on the dance floor.

Cake By The Ocean / DNCE

This song oozes summer party vibes. With a sweet baseline that tells you exactly what you’re in for, this track is the perfect thing to boogie down to even if you have no idea what the lyrics mean.

3

I Wanna Dance With Somebody / Whitney Houston

You know that awesome part of the night where you’re jumping around and “singing” (more like yelling) the chorus at the top of your lungs with all your best friends? This song is for that moment.

4

Sweet Caroline / Neil Diamond

There’s a good reason we have this classic under “Drunk People Songs” on our party band song list. There is a moment during the second half of reception where everyone just needs to belt out an anthem. Neil Diamond has you covered.

5

No Diggity / Blackstreet

Who can resist a good 90’s throwback? Towards the end of the evening, when grandma and grandpa are all partied out, bring out No Diggity. Your high school and college friends will easily find their second wind.
