Claire & Isaac’s Ocean House Wedding: Live Music, Personal Touches, and a Packed Dance Floor
Some weddings call for a little bit of everything: elegant live music, meaningful moments, and a dance floor that keeps the celebration going. Claire and Isaac’s wedding at Ocean House brought all three together for a memorable evening by the Rhode Island coast.
A Beautiful Ceremony by the Water
The celebration began on the South Lawn at Ocean House, where live violin and keyboard provided the soundtrack for the ceremony. Featuring a mix of timeless classics and meaningful song selections, the music created an elegant setting as Claire and Isaac exchanged vows.
For the recessional, live saxophone joined violin and keyboard for You Are the Best Thing by Ray LaMontagne, bringing an upbeat finish to the ceremony and setting the tone for the celebration ahead.
Classic Sounds for Cocktail Hour
Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the South Lawn and Croquet Court. Saxophone, violin, and keyboard took turns bringing familiar favorites to life, blending jazz standards, Motown, soul, and classic pop.
From Fly Me to the Moon and At Last to Signed, Sealed, Delivered and Come Together, the live music created a relaxed atmosphere for guests to mingle and enjoy the Ocean House setting.
Dinner, Toasts, and Meaningful Moments
As the evening moved to the Seaside Terrace, the celebration continued with dinner, heartfelt speeches, and classic jazz playing between toasts. After dinner, guests transitioned toward the ballroom, where Claire and Isaac shared their cake cutting before the evening’s entertainment shifted into high gear.
The reception included a series of special dances, beginning with Better Together by Jack Johnson for the newlyweds, followed by meaningful dances with their parents. These personal moments added a memorable touch before the dance floor opened.
DJ, Saxophone, Trumpet, and Drums Take the Stage
For the reception, SpeechLess Music brought together a DJ, live saxophone, trumpet, and drums to create a high-energy party experience. The combination of a DJ and live musicians allowed the music to evolve throughout the night, blending crowd favorites, throwbacks, pop hits, and sing-along classics.
With a special nod to Claire’s love of Justin Bieber, the playlist included some of his biggest hits alongside everything from ABBA and Whitney Houston to Earth, Wind & Fire and The Killers. The result was a dance floor that reflected the couple’s personalities while giving guests plenty of reasons to join the party.
Ending the Night on a High Note
The evening wrapped with Forever by Chris Brown before guests were invited to continue the celebration at the River Bar for the after-party.
From the first notes of the ceremony to the final song of the reception, Claire and Isaac’s wedding showcased how different musical styles and live instrumentation can work together to create a seamless experience.
At SpeechLess Music, we love helping couples bring their vision to life through entertainment that feels personal, thoughtfully planned, and tailored to the energy of their celebration. Claire and Isaac’s Ocean House wedding was a wonderful example of how live music and a great party can come together to make an unforgettable night.
