The winter months are upon us, that doesn’t mean the party stops. Who can resist a cozy dinner service during a wedding or event that feel super classy and warm? Here are a few of our favorite jazzy songs for your lounge-y, easy dinner hour.

Instantly set the vibe and ton with this Duke Ellington classic. Nothing makes people feel like sipping cocktails and telling old stories than jazzy, lounge-y tunes. What’s great about instrument music is that there’s no words. You create whatever story you’d like when listening to this in the background. Plus, mom and dad will love it.

Recently gone, but never forgotten, Bill Withers continues to inspire musicians. “Lean on Me” is such an easy, wholesome song with a real message and heart. In fact, it’s one of our favorites. Check out the video below to see our rendition. Dinner parties are meant to be full of friends, laughter, and feel-good music.

You know what song it is from the first few notes. Norah Jones has never left our hearts since her 2002 debut. With a light yet soulful, melody, you can’t help but relax to this ballad. “Don’t Know Why” is the definition of easy music and for that perfect dinner atmosphere this is always a go-to.

“Tall and tan and young and lovely” this song takes the cake for boozy, lazy warm evenings with a slight chill. Can’t you imagine sitting out on a patio with some small plates and your friends when you listen to this song?

Another one of our favorites and go-to dinner songs, “Stand by Me” by Ben E. King is one of the greatest songs for dinner service. You may even catch someone singing along. It’s hard to resist as this classic ballad has been gracing our eardrums for decades. This song has all the sway of Frank Sinatra’s “Sway” with none of the cheese.
